BioHey I'm Daniel Jones. I was the other guy in Savage Garden. I'm the guy to blame for the split.
After Savage Garden I went on to write and produce music, get married and now me and my wife are expecting our first child.
"The guy who wrote all the music to the Savage Garden tunes, and made them as catchy as they are.." Sir Paul McCartney's intro for me.
~ My most used nicknames are Dan, Waggin, Jonesy, and Caniel (my mum calls me that).
~I love long slim arms on women and I like Chanel No5 on women.
~ I was born in Essex, England. I am the youngster of the three Jones boys. My older brothers' names are Jonathan and Oliver. I am married to Kathleen de Leon of Aussie children's act Hi-5. We currently live in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
~ I am 1.80 metres (approx. 5 feet 11) tall.I have two piercings in my left ear and one in my right. In case you want to buy me a pair of shoes, my shoe size is a US size 9. My fave colour is pms 300 (a brilliant blue).
~ My fave dish is satay chicken but I also love pasta, chocolate and Coca-Cola.You'll always be able to find chocolate in my fridge.
~ My fave movie is When Harry Met Sally. I basically love every Meg Ryan movie! I basically love Meg Ryan.
~ My musical inspiration comes from Tears For Fears, XTC, Peter Gabriel and others. My fave songs on Savage Garden's debut album are To The Moon & Back and Truly Madly Deeply.On the Affirmation album I like Crash And Burn the most.
~ My worst habit is having a bit too much fun. I like indulging in all my bad habits. If I was a character on The Simpsons I would be a cross between Barney and Homer.
~ I sleep naked... Oooh, naughty boy!
~ I believe in God but I don't go to church.
~ As a teenager I wanted to play soccer at Wembley Stadium.
~ I play guitar, piano/keyboards, drums and bass. I play music by ear more than read music.
~ My biggest regret probably is that I didn't listen enough in school.I had a crush on a school teacher called Miss Lorraway because I felt she had a crush on me. I dropped out of 10th grade at High School to pursue a musical career.
~ I am not afraid of the dangerous animals (spiders, snakes, crocodiles etc.) in Australia. I have clombed Ayers Rock.
